The Overtime Challenge is designed for a 3 hour tournament in the evening. Tournaments will start at 6:00 p.m. and run for three hours.  If all preregistered participants are launched and ready to fish before 6:00 p.m. we may start early.  Lakes in the overtime divisions are generally closer together and target a local group of anglers to reduce drive time.

NBAA Overtime Championship:

Anglers will be competing for a chance to qualify for the year end National Championship. Each Overtime division will send the top 30% of the field to the National Championship, plus there will also be a wildcard event or drawing to give non-qualifiers a second chance to make the qualifying field. The championship will be solely organized by the NBAA and will consist of banquets, plaques, prizes and other items. Please refer to the Rules section for specifics on weigh ins, scoring and other details that you should be familiar with.

Entry Fee Breakdown:

The typical entry fee for an Overtime event is $45.00 per boat per event which includes $5.00 for big bass.  Entry fees are paid at the ramp and there are never any late fees in the NBAA.  Entry fees at the ramp will be reduced by $5 for those who have prepaid a deposit.  Register for the season and save $10!  You can fish these Overtime Challenge events alone but keep in mind these events are designed as team tournaments.

Teams fish 5 events in the Weekend Challenge divisions and will qualify for the championship based on standings with the top 30% of the field qualifying outright as well as “wildcard draws”. The championship will be solely organized by the NBAA and will consist of banquets, plaques, prizes and other items. Also, please refer to the Rules section for specifics on weigh ins, scoring and other details that you should be familiar with.
